We are excited to announce that our popular Women’s Fund Mother’s Day 5k Run/Walk is back! Join us on May 12, 2024 at Cisco Brewers in New Bedford, MA. Come run/walk in our race, listen to music, celebrate during our awards ceremony with beverages from Cisco Brewers and consider taking your mother or other loved one out to lunch after the event!
Since our inception in 2000, the Women’s Fund SouthCoast has invested over $1.5 million in the SouthCoast community. We conduct research on issues impacting women, girls and gender expansive people, fund innovative solutions and collectively advocate for policies and programs led by and for those most impacted.
Each year our Mother’s Day 5K Race raises over $50,000 directly supporting women and girls on the SouthCoast. Our popular race brings together over a thousand runners, walkers and their families. We are back for the 14th year after a brief pause due to COVID and we hope it’s our biggest yet.
Take out your tiara, hard hat, ball cap or honor the hats we wear everyday. We encourage you to wear what makes you feel empowered. All proceeds go to support women and girls on the SouthCoast.
The deadline for online registration is May 10th, while in-person registration will be available until May 11th.
