The Center for Women in Politics and Public Policy at the University of Massachusetts Boston invites women of color, gender-expansive people of color, youth and young adults, allies, and supporters to a powerful, transformative public convening.
Enjoy complimentary breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks with your registration. The evening reception features light hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar, all included.
Across Massachusetts and throughout the nation, women and gender expansive folk—especially Black, Indigenous, Asian, Latinx, Middle Eastern, multiracial, and other women/gender expansive people of color—are driving change. We are shaping civic and political life through public service, organizing, advocacy, movement building, scholarship, cultural work, and transformative leadership. And in this moment, when women of color—especially Black and brown women—are carrying the disproportionate weight of toxic federal policies, DEIA rollbacks, anti-immigration actions, and chronic divestment in our communities, our leadership has never been more essential.
