Laura is a lawyer, advisor, and director of nonprofit organizations. She has worked with environmental groups, educational institutions, and advised political campaigns and committees. She has deep expertise in governance and nonprofit management. Laura worked at the Federal Election Commission and in private practice. She represented presidential campaigns, political action committees, and companies.
Laura has a strong interest in environmental issues and chaired the Buzzards Bay Coalition from 2013 to 2021. She has also served on the boards of Falmouth Academy and the Marion Art Center. Currently, she sits on the Buzzards Bay Coalition’s Public Policy and DEIJA Committees and advisory councils of the Buzzards Bay Coalition and Oxfam America.
A Rhode Island native, Laura has lived for many years on the South Coast. She graduated from Smith College and received her J.D. from Boston College Law School. Laura and her husband, Jamey, have three children.
