Matthew is a non-profit, finance professional with over 10 years of experience. He has worked with organizations focused on social issues, youth/child development, equity and belonging, and STEAM.
Matthew previously worked at the Unitarian Universalist Association as the Budget and Finance Specialist managing congregational and donor giving to numerous campaigns supporting anti-racism, climate justice, economic justice, LGBTQ+ issues and many more. While at the Clubhouse Network as the Finance Manager he oversaw the daily financial responsibilities and managed organizational systems and practices including the yearly audit and led the budget and forecasting development and process. Currently, Matthew is the Director of Finance at Literations which works at closing literacy gaps and ensuring students enter the fifth grade as proficient readers. As a member of the Leadership team, Matthew oversees the organization’s finances and connects strategy to dollars to help the organization meet its mission.
Matthew lives in Dorchester, MA with his husband and young son and their dog, Petey.
