Women made history on January 20, 2021

Justice Sonia Maria Sotomayor, the first woman of color to serve on the United States Supreme Court, sworn in Kamala Harris, the first woman of color and the first woman of Asian heritage, as the Vice President of the United States!

“The Hill We Climb” by Amanda Gorman

We’ve seen a force that would shatter our nation rather than share it,

Would destroy our country if it meant delaying democracy.

And this effort very nearly succeeded.

But while democracy can be periodically delayed,

It can never be permanently defeated.

In this truth, in this faith, we trust.

For while we have our eyes on the future,

history has its eyes on us.

What Drives Us

We imagine a world in which women and girls are valued and their voices heard.

Why Give

Local women helping local women. We advocate, we advance. Our collective voice initiates change.
